The belt will be on the line when defending champion Rob Sinclair (11-2) takes on UFC veteran Andre Winner (14-6).
The bout comes a year after Sinclair last defended his belt, defeating Diego Vital courtesy of a third-round KO. A victory over Winner could take Sinclair to the next level.
Winner overcame Jason Ball on that same night at BAMMA 7 and has since beaten Diego Gonzalez as well.
“It’s been in the making for almost a year and it is going be the biggest domestic lightweight contest the UK has ever had, on the biggest show in Europe, for the biggest title BAMMA has, and on live TV,” said Sinclair.
“I’m very privileged to be a part of it; this is going to be the biggest fight of my life and I will be ready. There’s no messing around now, this is serious stuff.
“I will be the underdog no doubt, but that’s what I thrive on. This is will be the hardest hitting, strongest, most explosive Rob ‘C4′ Sinclair you will ever see and that’s a promise!”
Winner said: “I’ve been looking forward to this fight for a long time and I know a lot of people want to know who’d win out of me and Rob. Well, on September 15 they’re gonna find out.
“I’m gonna be coming with skills he’s not faced before, so unless he can deal with them I’ll be walking away with the belt. I’m in great shape and hungry to fight again so people should expect fireworks!”
